Frequently Asked Questions

  • The estimated start-up investment for a Juice Up franchise is $350,000–$600,000 + GST, depending on the location, site requirements and other factors. A more detailed cost breakdown will be provided during the discussion stage.

  • Ongoing fees include a 6% royalty on sales and a $1,000 monthly brand marketing contribution. Franchisees are also expected to invest 3–5% of sales into local marketing to help grow their store and reach their local community.

  • It all comes down to how involved you want to be. A franchise investor typically takes a more hands-off approach, focusing on growth and performance while a manager handles daily operations. An owner-operator is more hands-on, actively managing the team, customer experience and day-to-day business.

    Put simply: an investor works on the business, while an owner-operator works in the business.

  • Every Juice Up store is different, so there’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. Your ROI will depend on factors like location and store performance, which we’ll dive into with you in more detail during the discussion stage.

  • Hospitality experience is highly valued and preferred, but it’s not everything! What matters most is having the right attitude, drive and mindset to succeed. We’ll provide the training, tools and resources so you can succeed, while you bring the commitment to put them into action.

  • Store fit-outs typically take around 12–24 weeks, depending on the site, council requirements and other factors. We’ll work alongside you throughout the process to get you opening-day ready.

  • Finding the right spot is a team effort. We’ll work with you to assess potential locations and find a site that gives your Juice Up the best opportunity to thrive all year round.
